Aric Evatt, PTPPrincipal
Aric Evatt is a principal partner and Professional Transportation Planner (PTP). Mr. Evatt leads the transportation studies group with a focus on helping clients and communities develop mitigation strategies in response to ever evolving environmental and legislative requirements. As President of Urban Crossroads, Inc. Mr. Evatt works to ensure our continued success by maintaining strong client relationships, providing timely and complete work products and supporting our technical studies throughout the public hearing process.
John Kain, AICPPrincipal
John Kain has worked professionally in transportation planning and traffic engineering since 1975. Mr. Kain’s broad range of experience includes plans for new communities, General Plan Circulation Elements, management of the development and application of traffic models, transit-oriented community designs, non-motorized transportation plans, and alternative intersection treatments such as roundabout designs. Mr. Kain is a Fellow in the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), and he serves on the Advisory Board for the UC Irvine Department of Planning, Policy and Design.
Charlene So, P.E.Senior Associate
Since earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Irvine, Charlene So has developed a wide range of expertise in transportation planning and traffic impact analyses. She is a registered professional traffic engineer in the State of California. Ms. So is an experienced transportation analyst and is familiar with the analysis techniques of the most current Highway Capacity Manual. She is proficient in the use of unique software tools such as SYNCHRO and VISSIM.
Marlie Whiteman, P.E.Senior Associate
Marlie Whiteman, P.E., is our resident traffic modeling expert. Her strengths focus on model data development, consistency, validation, preparation of future forecasts, post-processing, as well as circulation planning and intersection capacity analysis. Ms. Whiteman’s capabilities include the use of a variety of modeling software packages, such as TransCAD, Cube, and Tranplan. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of California, Irvine.
Pranesh Tarikere, P.E.Senior Engineer
Pranesh Tarikere, P.E., has worked in transportation planning and traffic engineering since 2003. Since earning his Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas, Arlington, Mr. Tarikere has developed a wide range of expertise in transportation planning, traffic impact analysis and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) design and implementation. He is also a registered professional engineer in the State of California and Texas.
Chrissy EnosAccounting Administrator
Chrissy Enos has worked for Urban Crossroads since early 2006 managing the Company’s accounting department. Ms. Enos is responsible for all accounting and payroll functions for Urban Crossroads.
Alex Wolfe, INCESenior Analyst
Alex Wolfe has worked on a variety of projects for Urban Crossroads. He has been involved in the analysis and reporting of noise impacts to and from development projects using the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Traffic Noise Model (TNM), and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to graphically represent existing and future noise environments. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Studies from the University of California, Irvine in 2012.
Bill Lawson, P.E., INCEPrincipal
Bill Lawson is a founding principal partner, a Registered Professional Traffic Engineer and a Certified Acoustical Consultant. His educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Civic and Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor’s Degree in City and Regional Planning from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Mr. Lawson maintains a wide range of technical expertise that includes transportation planning, traffic engineering, neighborhood traffic control, and noise impact analysis.
Carleton Waters, P.E.Senior Transportation Engineer
Carleton Waters, P.E., has worked professionally in transportation engineering and related fields since 1981. He received his Master of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of California, Irvine, where his studies and master thesis focused on transportation and urban systems planning. As a register Civil Engineer, Mr. Waters provide the technical oversight and support for our design team. This include traffic signal design, coordinated traffic signal timing plans, roadway signing and striping plans, construction detour plans, and construction quantity and cost estimates plans and specifications.
Haseeb Qureshi, MESSenior Associate
Haseeb Qureshi has been working in the field of air quality and climate change analysis since 2006. In this time he, has authored numerous air quality, health risk, greenhouse gas, and malodorous impact analysis studies for projects ranging from small development projects to citywide General Plan updates and large scale specific plans. Recent activities include efforts to inventory greenhouse gas emissions for various projects and provide recommendations to reduce carbon impacts through innovative mitigation strategies. Mr. Qureshi earned his Master of Science degree in Environmental Science from California State University, Fullerton and his Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Analysis & Design from University of California, Irvine.
Dale Gudani has worked on worked numerous projects ranging from transportation planning activities, Geographic Information System (GIS) projects and conceptual AutoCAD designs. He received his Associates of Science degree in Network Administration from ITT Technical Institute, in 2002.
Eric Linares has worked on numerous projects from transportation planning activities, Geographic Information System (GIS) projects to Conceptual AutoCAD designs. Mr. Linares is a highly skilled AutoCAD technician, with Geographic Information Systems (GIS). He received his Associates of Science degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design from ITT Technical Institute, in 2004.
Janette Cachola has worked in transportation planning and traffic engineering since 2001. Ms. Cachola has worked on a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, traffic impact analyses, queuing analysis, traffic signal warrant analyses, intersection Capacity Utilization (ICU) intersection analysis and parking studies. She has an Associates of Science degree in Network Administration from ITT-Tech in 2002 and an Associates of Art degree in Liberal Arts from Santa Ana College in 2007.
Bryan BeckAssistant Analyst
Bryan Beck has worked on a variety of projects for Urban Crossroads. He has been involved in transportation planning activities, Geographic Information System (GIS) projects and Conceptual AutoCAD designs. Mr. Beck’s AutoCad software experience includes, project maps and exhibits, truck turning templates, sight distance analysis, graphic design and custom AutoCAD commands and tools. He uses the latest CAD software packages including AutoCAD and Auto TURN and Corel Paint Shop Pro.
